Description

In foam fire protection system, the supply of the foam concentrate is becoming more and more important for large-range foam fire protection project. Traditional bladder tank system can provide too limited foam concentrate to fit the fire protection latter-day. BPPH Series foam pump balanced pressure proportioning unit (BPPH is short) is a new fire-fighting equipment of foam fire protection system, it is suitable for use in middle or large foam system, such as petroleum & chemistry industry, harbors & wharves, oil depots, airports & garages, sea platform and so on.

The product accords with the code of design for low-expansion foam extinguishing system and the NFPA11, and has passed the inspection of national fire equipment supervisor & testing center.

Features of Application

Because the atmospheric storage bladder tank, made from stainless steel (or glass reinforced plastics, polyethylene) has no bladder, it is low expense and it has no bladder to tear.

BPPH is fit for Class B, AFFF and Alcohol resistant foam.

The tank of BPPH can be refilled when using, especially used for large-range foam fire protection project.

The ratio of foam concentrate is accurate because of the balance valve¯s dynamic adjusting.

The supply style of foam concentrate makes the pressure and the flow of foam solution flexible.

Operation is easy and can make it automation.

When the water turbine is selected, BPPH is without power supply, automation and intrinsic safety.

Principle and Structure

Principle: When the fire hazard appears, the pressured water flow through the proportioner, part of it contact the water turbine, which makes the foam pump start to work. The pump draws foam concentrate from the atmospheric tank and discharges the concentrate through the piping network to the proportioner. The foam solution is produced and transported to foam generator, foam gun, foam monitor or other foam equipment and come into being atmosphere foam, which put out the liquid fire of first, second and third type.
Structure: The BPPH consists of foam concentrate tank, foam pump (gear pump driven by water turbine, electric motor or diesel engine), balance valve, proportioner, check valve, relief valve, pipes and so on. It is showed as following:
